No Man’s Sky first launched in 2016 as a console that allowed players to explore a nearly endless procedurally generated galaxy on the PS4, PC, and Xbox One systems. But the game that many VR lovers have been waiting for is a VR version, and now it’s here.

No Man’s Sky Beyond takes the same dynamic of the console game and lets users (multiplayer users!) immerse themselves in the universe, visiting planets, building bases on those planets, and exploring virtual space in ways that may make some truly consider whether we’re actually living in a simulation.

The game is coming on August 14th on Steam for Windows-compatible VR headsets and the PlayStation VR headset on the PlayStation 4.
