Segway was, according to the late Steve Jobs decades ago, poised to change the way cities were built. Of course, that never happened, and the Segway self-balancing chariot became more of a punch line than a game changer. But that may be about to change.

The company used CES to reveal its Segway S-Pod, which looks a lot like the personal transport vehicles in Pixar’s Wall-E.

We don’t know the price, and the vehicle doesn’t even appear on the company’s website, but this automatically seems like a more viable version of the original.
