We usually feature a variety of artists, but this month we want to point out a just one: Robot Pencil aka Anthony Jones from Irvine, California.

Robot Pencil won this year’s LIMITS World Grand Prix digital art competition. The competition is unique in that it’s very similar to esports gaming competitions, but the difference is that instead of gaming, artists — one person versus one person each round — must work on digital tablets with a time limit of 20 minutes to see who can do the best.

The competition was born in Osaka, Japan in 2015, and this year it was held in Shibuya, Tokyo, but the contestants were international, hailing from Taiwan, Shanghai, Japan, and Los Angeles. The following is just some of Robot Pencil’s amazing work.
