There are many divided opinions on the various Star Wars prequels and sequels, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find many people who don’t love The Mandalorian, which aired as a series on the new Disney Plus streaming service.

Now the ILM (Industrial Light & Magic) team behind the series is showing how they used innovative new filming techniques like a 270-degree semicircular LED video wall and ceiling, as well as practical effects to not only give The Mandalorian that classic Star Wars feel, but also save millions compared to the budgets given to the latest Star Wars movies. And yes, there’s some Baby Yoda in there, in case you were wondering.
